It's the day before I go off to college! I move into my dorm at Florida International University tomorrow. Which will be nice, because I'm anxious to get all of my things moved into my dorm.

Once I set-up all of my things, I plan to set up my laptop and microphone and start looking into some beginning steps of online voice acting. At Anime Iowa 2011 (July 29-31), I went to a guest panel starring Rina-Chan and a few other Newgrounds Users (though I was unfamiliar with them). Anyway, Rina-Chan talked about how to get into voice acting, and what microphones to think about using. She said that she uses the Samson C01U, so I went ahead and bought the Samson C01U. I had some extra money laying around, and decided, "what the heck?"

So I hope that I can start soon :). I am quite aware that along with a decent microphone, you indeed need a good voice, and the ability to act. I've been told since I was in the fifth grade that I should do voices or "voice act." And I write a lot of stories, and use myself to envision how each character should react in various situations... though it is an unorthodox method, it has indeed taught me how to express the appropriate emotions in the correct ways :). I have to act everyday to tell you the truth, because I have mild Asperger Syndrome.
